Melissa Henault [:I feel like I'm posting a lot, but what I would love to have looked at is just my content. Because I have one post that I do. I just sort of rinse and repeat it, and it's been getting, like, 1,500 to 3,000 impressions. And then everything else is getting a hundred or less. And so Okay. I just kind of would love some eyes on it, and I refreshed my content a little bit, which that is all gonna start this week. But
Unknown [:Let's see it. Okay. So what she's sharing for folks that are new, I love this. I love the data. The data is saying that there's a specific type of post that's getting way more traction than the others. So what is that content? What is it telling? And how can we do more of it is basically the question.
Melissa Henault [:Yeah. Or how can I use it to get more attention yeah? Get more eyes on what I'm doing. Mhmm. So I do these, I call them confidence catalyst chats. And the whole point is that I do the whole thing, and then I only post them on YouTube so that you have to go to my YouTube channel to see the whole thing. Because I also know they're, like, ten to fifteen minutes long, and I know people really don't wanna sit around for that. So then I take them and clip them, and then I just do the clip.
Unknown [:Love it.
Melissa Henault [:And then I have my description of what the whole thing is. Yes. So these have been my high impression things.
Unknown [:Okay. And what is your question?
Melissa Henault [:So, like, what do I do with this to get more content like this? More because then my other ones, you know, what, Terry? But then, like, I don't know. Everything else is, like, 55.
Unknown [:Yeah. So go back. What I would do is look at what resonated. What was in the actual content? Let me see what you wrote. Yeah. So what I'm seeing is you're really speaking to being on empty, being in overwhelm, and it's resonating with your audience. And so what you need to ask yourself is this compared to your other content, what are you speaking to here that's different? And how can you speak more to this? Because what I'm seeing here is you're just speaking to a major struggle that a lot of people experience in the workforce, and you're calling it out. And that's making you stand out, and it's inspiring.
Unknown [:And so how can you do more of that? Just like we just did an analysis on my account, and the two top performing posts for the month were about failure and disappointment. And so your audience is going to relate more if you can meet them where they are. My content that talks about being a multimillion dollar a year company and all the success that we have, like, nobody really relates to that. So they just scroll past it. But if I actually meet my potential client where they are with their struggle today, they stop and listen. I think that what you're experiencing and seeing here is that you're speaking, you're meeting your potential client where they are. And it's great to inspire and it's great to talk about future states and how you can change people's lives. But it's also important to meet people where they are and let them know that you understand their struggle better than anyone else.
Unknown [:Okay. So that's I have to say about that. How many people are you adding to your network weekly right now?
Melissa Henault [:I will admit, I am not the best at that because I am working eighty hours a week. So I'm trying to build this company in and around that.
Unknown [:Okay. Well and the reason I ask is because I see 63 followers. How many connections do you have?
Melissa Henault [:53.
Unknown [:Okay. So this is really good for everybody to hear. You are judging the performance of your content on a very small network. What I want you to focus on now is your content is only as powerful as the people you get it in front of. And so who knows the magic number to get into flow state on LinkedIn?
Melissa Henault [:Five hundred.
Unknown [:Five hundred. We need 500 new connections that are active users of the platform. So where you're gonna start seeing results, where you're gonna start seeing more engagement is not only with perfecting your content, but actually growing the network. This is why I was just having everybody raise their hand and commit to the LinkedIn checklist is because if you're not growing the network, there's no audience to see it. On the LinkedIn checklist, we need to be growing our network every single week. Even if you can't do it every single day, Amelia, if you're committing to doing it twice a week and it's just part of your workflow, it's gonna make a huge difference in the engagement and visibility. Because basically, you're open for business, but only a hundred people know that you are. And out of those 2% are active at any one time.
Unknown [:So you're judging your content by two people on any given day seeing your content right now. So the impressions for 1,500 for that small of a network is actually pretty powerful. I see George getting really excited. Like, that's huge. Think about the exponential amount of visibility you got from that one post with the network size that you have. So I would love to see you double down with your network growth right now.
Melissa Henault [:Okay. I've been in the academy four months now. Should I do premium now that I kind of feel like I know because I will say all 52 of those connections have been I started zero four months ago. So everybody has been cherry picked, I guess, is the right word.
Unknown [:I would max out the amount of people that I I don't know that you need premium if you're not maxing out your network growth right now. We're just burning money.
Melissa Henault [:The free one. Sorry. Oh, yeah. Then you The free month.
Unknown [:I would say I wouldn't even get the free yet. See what your own capacity is to grow your network first. Because if you're not meeting the threshold, save that free LinkedIn premium for a later date in your back pocket. I wanna see you be like, shoot. LinkedIn slapped me on my hand for growing my network too fast. Now I need to go to LinkedIn premium. Like, I wanna see that you had the capacity to actually push the envelope first.
Melissa Henault [:Okay. I'll do that. Okay. So I'll just go in it's kind of what you were saying at the beginning. Just go back to the checklist now, I think, for me, because I feel really good about my content. I think I feel like it's varied and it's different, and I don't wanna repeat that post five days a week. I think that might also also be boring. I still wanna keep it varied.
Unknown [:Yes. But you bring up a good point for everyone to hear. I would love to see once you get your network growth to about 400, you actually go back and repost all the content that was top performing because you have a totally new network now.
Melissa Henault [:Yes. Yeah. That I've learned that. Okay. So I just do the checklist and grow my network. Okay. So thank you.
