Hello. Burnout to all out friends. This episode is more than a business breakdown. So I hope you can take what's useful and apply it directly to your business. What you're about to listen to was actually a a q one review on how we were able to scale to a million in cash in the bank in the February, and we revealed it in a networking event.

Melissa Henault [:

I host these quarterly to my entire community. Some of you might have even been there. So just to give you perspective of the framework of the workshop itself. Melissa Henault [:

On this show, we're serving up innovative growth strategies, simple implementation methods to put them into practice, and action stimulating inspiration tailored specifically for the modern entrepreneur. Let's dive in. We're here, we are here, like, thank you for being here. And we're just gonna jump right in. And I'm just gonna literally start with the elephant in the room like, and I want this to be interactive. I want you to share with me in the chat, like who wants 5 figure days on repeat? Like who wants 5 figure days on repeat? This is really timely. I actually made a post about this today, like recurring revenue is the number one system, nervous system regulator to see that your recurring revenue is 5 figures on a daily basis. There's no more calming aspect of entrepreneurship, right? The knowing you're seeing that coming in predictably, Predictably.

Melissa Henault [:

And that's what we're gonna talk about today. So let me know in the chat. You're here because why? I'm gonna I'm just gonna rattle off why I think some of you are here, and I'd love to know in the chat where this resonates. Right? Like, you wanna network with other trailblazers in my world. We're gonna do that today. Let me know if that's why you're here. You want our q one cheat codes. Like, how the hell did this bitch make a million dollars cash on screen in ninety days? Tell me your secrets.

Melissa Henault [:

Maybe that's why you're here. Right? Maybe you're ready to hit 5 figure days or maybe you're hitting 5 figure days, but it's not easy. Right? It's heavy what you're carrying. Right? Maybe that's why you're here. Maybe you're here because you're here for the no fluff. You're here because if you know me, I am direct. I am honest. Yes, Amber.

Melissa Henault [:

I cut to the chase. Right? Maybe that's why you're here. Maybe you're here to connect with like minded burnout to all out humans. I attract a certain vibe. You either like me or you hate me, and I am okay with that. Right? I am a magnet. That was the song when we first came in. You either attract or you repel, and I am okay with that.

Melissa Henault [:

Maybe you wanna understand how we've built a traffic pipeline over the years that converts strangers to premium buyers fast. Maybe that's what aligns with you. But here's a couple of ground rules. Number one, this is not a content dump. As a matter of fact, I want you to know that I spent a significant amount of time reflecting on why did we meet our revenue goals in this market? Why did we exceed a million in revenue? Not in committed revenue, cash in the bank, from the company in the first ninety days of the year. Why did we exceed our profit margin goals of 25%? I actually really sat down and forced myself to consolidate three core concepts that I know were major pivots that we've done in the past six months. Yes. The six the three months leading up to the three month results, right, that generated where we are today.

Melissa Henault [:

So know that I took a really concerted effort and time to really think through what are the three most critical things we can talk about today. Because I'm like, I wanna give them all the goods. I wanna pull back the curtain. So I'm gonna make sure I give you the meat of q one review and what worked for me first. You know, also, this is a recalibration. This is a recalibration for some of you. Right? A reset frequency upgrade. Some of you have been beat up in the first quarter.

Melissa Henault [:

Some of you are up against significant headwinds. I see it with my peers. I see it across many industries right now. And one of the things I wanna do in this call today is inspire the fuck out of you of what is actually possible and where there are results that are actually happening right now and be a shining light in this industry of what is truly possible. If you're willing to pivot, if you're willing to move with the market, the opportunity is never gone. It just shifts and you have to move with it. Right. And that's one of the things that we're going to talk about today.

Melissa Henault [:

So consider this also a frequency recalibration. If you're feeling a little bit beat up, Right? You're not alone. The next thing I wanna say and honor is that you're already a goddamn genius. You are already a goddamn genius, and you know this. Right? But it's not translating into consistent sales the way you want it to. Right? I have been there. Hello. My name is Melissa Henault.

Melissa Henault [:

I have been in business for a while and experienced this myself. Right? Maybe you're seeing others in your industry or your niche. They're soaring and you're wondering what you're missing. Right? I cannot wait to share with you what maybe you've overlooked that maybe minor tweaks to significant impact in your business. Maybe you're tired of working harder and still not finding momentum. Been there. Right? Maybe you're not quite finding the flow and the ease to run your business. Maybe it it doesn't feel light, and perhaps maybe it feels a little bit heavy.

Melissa Henault [:

Anybody been there? I know towards the middle of last year, my business felt really heavy, really heavy. Does this resonate with some of you? And maybe you're feeling frustrated that sales are feeling slow in comparison to others in your industry that you're seeing skyrocket. Maybe some of you are even triggered if you're really honest with yourself about me stating my success in the first quarter. Some of you are here, but there's a part of you that's like, well, must be nice. Right? Well, humble beginnings, if you could follow me back to the beginning. And here's the thing, you are a genius, and you're not alone in the headwinds of this economic season. It's how you pivot and how you adapt. Those who adapt and pivot first win.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? And you know from an honest place, not a bad place, but an honest place that you have more genius than most people. Put all of your genius together, but your sales aren't reflecting this. Right? Maybe your sales aren't reflecting this. And this is why I am so glad you're here tonight. And I'm gonna get to share with you behind the scenes of what's worked in 2025 in real time. The last thing I wanna say before I really dive into content is that if you know me, you know me. If you've been a part of my world at all, you know that I don't do anything half ass. So even though tonight is free, it is worth literally millions of dollars if you take notes and most importantly, take action.

Melissa Henault [:

So don't think that because this is free, it's of low value. I am always talking to my premium client, and we're gonna talk about this later. I'm always talking to you as a premium client from the get go. Everything I give is from the bottom of my heart for transformation. There's no fluff. It's gold. We're dropping gold tonight. Alright.

Melissa Henault [:

We're gonna talk about business best practices. Just for those of you who need a road map, you're like, where are we going tonight, Melissa? We're gonna talk about business best practices. I'm gonna do a q one overview with you. We are going to then pivot into our networking breakout where you're gonna have an opportunity to actually take your first step at digesting what it was I just shared. There's seven more months left in this year. There is so much opportunity. I have had years, and my team can attest to this, where two thirds of my income has come in the last quarter of the year. We don't run that way anymore.

Melissa Henault [:

That's, like, too much for me stress wise. But I share that from a place of inspiration as well. Right? That, like, we still have plenty of time. So what is working right now to hear what is working in online business in 02/2025? So it's actually really timely that we're having this call tonight as we celebrate epic milestones in May. So I just wanna share with you in real time because I don't know about you, but I am constantly looking to hitch my wagon to mentors who are in current momentum. I always ride with those who are skyrocketing. I love my mentors all we all have a sole contract and when their growth slows, I jump off the wagon. And that's okay.

Melissa Henault [:

I'm gonna go find another mentor who's in in the skyrocketing space. And so the reason I bring this up is because, you know, again, if you haven't sharpened your pencil already, I think it's really important that I'm sharing these numbers with you right now before we get into what's working because I wanna validate the results so that you're gonna wanna listen in because it's like, okay. This isn't that she's been successful for seven years. This is what she's been successful this year in this market. Right? So we exceeded over a million in revenue, not committed, cash in the bank in the first quarter. Okay? We have over a hundred thousand in recurring revenue per month committed. We're gonna talk about that, which is really good for the nervous system in this market. Right? In May, we celebrated a cumulative 10,000,000 in revenue since starting seven years ago.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? And just in May alone, and we're not done, we've closed out over 300 sales, over 300 sales. Okay? So why am I sharing all of this with you? I want you to understand that these results come from a place of being savage with systems built for trust and scale. I would write these two words down, trust and scale. Now here's the thing. The 300 sales that we closed in May, what's wild about this is that a hundred of those sales came from three emails to less than 10% of our email list. So this is where system and strategy is really important. We have to if you wanna uplevel to the next level CEO, the name of the game is strategy. The name of the game is systems and strategy.

Melissa Henault [:

It's it's no longer a hobby. It's not a hope. It's not a, you know, lick your fingers, stick it in the air strategy. We have to have strategy. Right? And we aren't even launching anything right now. We're not lucky. We're strategic. What I'm gonna talk to you about tonight are the three core factors creating money in 2025 in the online space.

Melissa Henault [:

Let's be honest. When I talk about the online space, I don't care what your business is. You could be selling donuts from a brick and mortar. You can be a coach. You can be a doctor. I don't care. I mean, I do care who you are, but what I'm saying is it doesn't matter if you're not strategic with your online presence and you're not strategic with how you're you're growing your business leveraging the Internet. You are obsolete in 02/2025.

Melissa Henault [:

Can we all agree there? Right? We can't resist. We have to adapt. Those of us who adapt and pivot first win. You're all geniuses with what you have to offer. Right? It's just strategy. So the three things we're gonna talk about, the three pillars, critical factors when I reflect on our first quarter of this year are these three things, and then I'm gonna break them down for you in the next couple of slides. K? This is where we're gonna spend our time. We're gonna pause with each, and we're gonna talk about what I started doing and what I stopped doing in each of these categories that made a tremendous difference in my business.

Melissa Henault [:

I also wanna go ahead and call out that some of you are gonna have resistance against some of what I share. You're gonna have resistance, and there are some things you need to look at on a finer level that you haven't been willing to look at in the past. And the reality is Rome wasn't built in a day. As we go through this, I wanna say this upfront. So don't don't tune out something that I talk about because you're like, oh, I've tried that or, oh, I've heard that. It's working for us. If you're resisting it, many times when I'm resisting something, it's what I need the most. Like, one of the biggest things I resisted was AI.

Melissa Henault [:

And when I finally leaned into it, it blew my fucking mind. I'm like, why did I resist this for so long? I resisted it because I thought it was gonna take me forever to understand it. And in a matter of moments, I was like, oh, my God, this is exponentially improving my life, my business, my impact, all the things. Just like when I resisted for the first time, a website. Seven years ago, when I launched my business for two years, I was like, I know I need a website, but I just seems like a lot to do. Like, I just can't do it right for two years. And then finally, when I got my LLC and put a stake in the ground, I was like, you've got to build a website. I was broke.

Melissa Henault [:

I didn't have any money to do it. So I had to figure it out myself. And I went on GoDaddy and I built my own website resisted that for two years. Okay. So like, hello, my name is Melissa. And I have been in your shoes. I have resisted. And the things I have resisted the most have been the things when I finally leaned into them grew me the most.

Melissa Henault [:

So tonight, I'm calling you forward. I'm calling you forward to step into that next version leader that will take your business to the next level if you're willing to move through the resistance and add commas to your bank account and add impact to the humans that you serve. Okay? So here's the three categories. We're gonna talk about number one is going to be stop obsessing over new client acquisition, and balance it with the lifetime value of the customer. Number two, cut waste and increase efficiency in your business. This is the one that most of you resist the most, that has made the biggest difference in my business. We're gonna really get into this. You have profit leaks that are killing your margins right now.

Melissa Henault [:

And it's because you're not willing to look under the hood of what you could be doing differently. Okay? Number three, what you're all here for is, like, the juicy details of how you pivot with creativity in a changing market and stay ahead. I'm gonna land on that, and then I'm actually gonna give you a real time case study of what we are doing in this market and how it's taking off like wildfire. And what I wanna say about this is we always have to have our ears and eyes open for the shift so we can act quickly in a changing market. Right? So let's start with the stop obsessing over new client acquisition. Two things I wanna say here, and then we're gonna get into it. I want you to start thinking more. So stop obsessing so much over new sales.

Melissa Henault [:

Yes. We need to balance it. We need to generate top of funnel. For those of you who are like, what is top of funnel? This is like the door that you open to your house to allow, like, an audience in. Right? Our top of funnel, we have to have something moving people through the door, but we have to balance that with the lifetime value of current customers. Okay, we have to balance that with a lifetime value of current customers. I guarantee most of you your next $100,000 in your business this year could be literally under the hood of your current client base. Guaranteed.

Melissa Henault [:

And here's why. So let's talk about it. Many of you are chasing your tails with new client acquisition as your main source of income. And you're not looking at opportunity to retain your current clients, to renew your current clients, to ascend your current clients, and to generate referrals with your current clients. Now that's a lot that I just listed off, but that right there is worth over a hundred thousand dollars in every single one of your businesses, every single one of you that I see on the screen. Right? If you're very strategic about it, the conversion rate on retaining and renewing a current client, mark my words, it is significantly higher than a conversion rate of a cold lead to whatever you have to sell. What do I mean by conversion? Selling. Selling to someone who's totally cold takes a lot of damn work versus retaining raving clients and giving them something new and a reason to stay around.

Melissa Henault [:

I learned this the hard way. Right? How many of you guys have read the book, about Walt Disney and, like, why his mega empire is actually so successful? Has anybody read his book or studied why it's so successful? Many think on the surface that Walt created this wealth because of the ticket that you pay to get through the door at Walt Disney. Okay. When I walked away from our trip to Disney, I told my family never again. We could take a luxury trip to Alaska for ten days for what we just spent at Disney World for seven. Disney had it figured out. You're in the door. How can we surprise and delight and keep you here and sell you on as many things as possible from a place that actually creates more delight, more happiness while you're there.

Melissa Henault [:

Okay? I want you to think about this in your businesses. I was in a $50,000 mastermind 2 years ago, and for an entire day, one of our activities, he was like, everybody load up. We're getting on a bus, and we're going to Disney World. And I was like, I cannot believe I paid $50,000 for this mastermind, and this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna go to Disney World for the day. But then he told the story before we got there, and he challenged us to take a different lens on Disney from the moment we were at the gate and recognize, a, how Disney was so focused on client satisfaction so that they retain them and they come back. But then also to notice all the upsells and all the shit that was sold inside once they were there. And I say this from a place of service.

Melissa Henault [:

I don't say this from a place of taking advantage of your clients. I say this from a place of over serving to retain them because they're happy and actually keeping them because they are happy. How many of you, your number one stress is where you can find more clients? How many of you have actually looked under the hood of your current client experience to ask yourself, where could I improve the lifetime value of my client? Where could I actually improve it? Or, you know, are your offers really that good? Like, we do surveys with our internal clients to keep our finger on the needle or the finger on the pulse, right, of, like, feedback. And we when things aren't at a certain Richter scale, we're like, okay. We gotta we gotta up the ante because we wanna keep these people. We want them to get results. When they first come in on our flagship for $5,500, that's the pay to play at at the ground level. We wanna send them all the way up to the $30,000 offer, and they're not gonna move up there if they're not getting results, and they aren't delighted.

Melissa Henault [:

So that's number one, reflecting on, are my offers that good? Number two is even if they are that good, are you terfing your clients into whatever you're selling and then immediately going back out to fish, and you're not focused on inside of Disneyland. Right? I know some of you are guilty. Hello. My name is Melissa. I've been there. Right? We're like, got a whole cohort. Throw them in. Let's go back out and find some more.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? And you forget. It's a million dollar mistake. It's a million dollar mistake. Okay? So that's something I want you all to think about. So let's break down. If you're like, well, where do I go with this, Melissa? I'm gonna give you a couple of steps. The number one thing we did to create diverse income, multiple income streams on repeat with recurring revenue in our company so that we're not so launch dependent is creating Ascension Ladders. How many of you don't have an offer beyond, like, your number one thing that you sell people, your product or service? Right? And some of you can say, you're maybe looking at my chapter 10 and you're on chapter one and you're like, well, that's good for you, Melissa.

Melissa Henault [:

You've got this big company and all these offers, you know, I call bullshit. I've been in your shoes. It's where I started. Right? And so if all you have is one offer, so did I. And what I started to do was interview my current clients. So if you're like, I have no idea what to sell them. Don't guess. It is one of the worst mistakes I see with even our high level clients who come in after spinning their wheels, doing on their own is going into a vacuum and trying to create a new offer for a client base that you didn't beta test or interview or have any validation that they actually want it.

Melissa Henault [:

I see people spending days, weeks, months creating something and then bringing it to market to their current clients and nobody buys it. Right? Because they actually didn't do the market research. They didn't interview their clients. The easiest thing you can do is type form survey. What do you want more of? This is how we launched our business mentorship called build, grow, scale. We actually took our clients and our flagship offer that teaches lead generation. And we said, what do you want more of? And we got the survey, and we took the top 10 most recurring things, and we invited them to an a webinar two weeks later. Keep in mind, hadn't built it yet.

Melissa Henault [:

Didn't know what it's gonna look like. Went to them and said, we are so excited for you to be the founders for this brand new program. Here's what's in it. And guess what? They were like, holy shit. That's exactly what I need. And we were like, really? Awesome. And then people bought it, and then we built it. And some of you are gonna have resistance to that.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? Sell it before you build it. There's nothing wrong with selling it. And the first go round, you drip it out till you're done making it. It actually allows you to build it in real time and pivot with the group, the first group that you have. And there's also nothing wrong with giving a future date to start it. So one of the things I started last year is called the modern entrepreneur. It's bodies build business. It's the energetics of business.

Melissa Henault [:

I had this huge vision for it, and I sold it in October. Guess when it started? February. Okay? So, like, quit telling yourself this stuff has to be created before you sell it. You can build some ascension now. Ask them what they want. Sell it. When you have validation, make it. Okay? So that's number one.

Melissa Henault [:

The other thing is with the Ascension Ladder, I wanna talk about painting a vision with them on day one. So if you have more than one offer, you actually do have some different offers you can move your clients through, but you're not very seamless with it. Right? Like, your clients aren't really aware that there's a ladder or an opportunity. So it's really important that you paint a vision with them on day one, like we do in our flagship. The first module they watch is like a video that talks about the lifelong journey and burnout to all out and how this is step one. And how the next step is to move into build, grow, scale, which are business mentorship, and then we move into our high level mastermind. So from the day one, we're casting vision and desire to elevate into those rooms. Some of you are capturing clients, and then when they're done with whatever cohort they have, they're just falling off a cliff to go find someone else because they have no idea of your genius.

Melissa Henault [:

Listen, and I speak from experience. Two years ago, this is this I can't make this up. Two years ago, I got a message from a client who gone through the lead gen Academy for six months. This is prior to doing what I'm teaching you guys today. She came back to me graduated six months after graduating and she was like, Oh my god, Melissa, your methods have worked so well. I created a 6 figure income launching my new business. Do you know any business coaches that could help me? I was like, oh my god, I failed. She has no idea that we have so much more to offer as a business mentor because we didn't make it evident from the get go.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? So I want you to make sure you are casting vision from day one. The other thing, you know, I want you to think about is let's talk about step two, which is seamless automation. So because some of you are like, well, that's great, Melissa. How do I take myself out of the complexity of that? And this is where we've scaled to a million in the first quarter of this year is putting the automation in place. Because once you start humming and you start bringing in customers, you're gonna forget where they are in the journey. And if you can get really organized, you can create seamless segmented email nurture that really flags and tags people for certain time frames with their work with you as like a countdown for notification. We have countdowns for notification in our coursework, knowing when they're about to graduate and a call to action to upgrade, what it could look like to continue to work with us. We're literally right now, we host graduations.

Melissa Henault [:

So our clients who are about to graduate get a three day intensive that is like rapid fire business mentorship on steroids to give them a vision of what it would look like to take the next step with us. So we're very strategic in their graduation and exit. I didn't do this a couple years ago, it's made a huge difference in keeping our clients. And then the other thing I want you thinking about is are you tethering and cross offering with an organized system flow. Now I'm not going to get into the depths of this. We teach this inside of our programs. But we've gotten really strategic in tethering when someone comes in in this offer, that they're actually at some point could upsell into this offer. And so we we have mapped out where those can tether, and we are building out in real time.

Melissa Henault [:

I'm telling you, like, I'm a work in progress. But I'm building out in real time how we can move our clients cross offers in an automated way, where it makes sense. So let me give you an example. If our clients are sitting in, let's say, the lead gen academy, and they're learning about lead generation, but one of the things we still talk about is the power of a really high converting opt in. But we're not teaching high converting opt ins in my LinkedIn course. Right? But we actually are, like, ridiculous about teaching it in our build, grow, scale model. So what I want you to understand here is the tethering opportunity. Right? We're teaching lead generation on LinkedIn, but we're also tethering and hinting at if you wanna go deeper on how to create a high converting opt in, then you're gonna wanna go check this out.

Melissa Henault [:

So you can really analyze your business and start thinking about all the cross sells that you're missing out on right now. People who could move to VIP, up to this, up to that. And this is for service based too, for those of you in the service base. Right? All the things. So write this down if you haven't already, but it's like, let automation be your secret sauce that some of you haven't slowed down to do that creates countdowns and calls to action and cross tethering to different things. You can even work them through a whole sequence. If they don't bite and they don't convert, you can work them through another sequence. Right? Like, we host a live event.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? So we can move people through a live event nurture, or we can move them through the next thing. Right? This is the efficiency of the hundreds of thousands of dollars I'm talking about that many of you are leaving on the table because you're busy looking for new customers, instead of being really strategic with the ones you have. And we have clients renewing and ascending daily, which is why we have the recurring revenue now. Like, once you build it, like, I looked at my bank account today. I think we've actually closed almost $40,000 in the last two days. Right? And that's because of the recurring revenue in the daily selling. A lot of it is automated. Right? Now, you know, if I don't know if any of you are in our build, grow, scale community, but if you are, you know this, you've, you know, you've got the cheat codes, right? We're strategic with systems.

Melissa Henault [:

So number three, do you make it visible and irresistible to stay with you? So that's the other thing is what does your renewal process look like? Like, we have a really irresistible renewal process that's like, stay with us at half price. I don't know about you all, but like a client who stays, the onboarding of a new client is way more intensive than a client who renews. They have less questions, they know how to navigate everything. They are like just dreamy clients. Why do I need to charge them the same amount? Right? Like, let them renew at half price. And let's keep them in the ethos. And they bring a lot of value to the rest of the community. Right? So make it a no brainer.

Melissa Henault [:

And then there's referral process. Do you have a streamlined referral process that is socialized and easy for current clients to network with and to share. So this is really important. How robust is your referral program? Do you have assets that you can just share that makes it easy for them to share? How many of you have sat through one of my master classes? I used to do nine day master classes for LinkedIn. We aren't doing them anymore, but I'm sure you guys some of you have sat through them. Right? You've witnessed. On the first three days, mark my words, my team can attest to this, we can bump the registrant number by 500. How? Because in the first three days of the master class, what are we saying? If you love this, make sure you're sharing it with your network.

Melissa Henault [:

Here's three simple steps to share it with your network. So we already have eyeballs watching. They're getting tremendous value. We're creating the call to action, and we're dangling the carrot. We always raffle off something really awesome for people who share. And then the last one is reactivation. So do you have strategies to reengage past clients? We did one just last night. We had an alumni event last night, some of the clients I hadn't seen in a really long time, and it was beautiful.

Melissa Henault [:

And many of them jumped into our new no brainer offer for community and connection. Right? And here's the cool thing, and many of you can attest to this. Are any of you the same person you were three years ago, two years ago, five years ago? Do the offers you have, are they the same? Are they elevated? Are they different? Right? And so the reason I call this forward is because reactivation is really powerful because I have evolved and so have my clients. The offers I have today look vastly different than the ones I had five years ago. Like one of the things I'm doing right now that's blowing my mind, I never would have thought in a million years, I am building a luxury Airbnb in the mountains. And I still can't believe when I say this out loud that we're gonna be launching luxury business retreats in that house. Well, that wasn't an option two years ago, much less five. So I want to make sure that my past clients are activated, that I'm still in touch with them.

Melissa Henault [:

Because as you evolve, your offers evolve, and there may be new things that you bring forward that they may want to be interested in. So let me just show you what I mean by threading. This is gonna make some of you, like, your head spin a little bit, but I'm gonna talk about, the threading. And I want you to think about, is there a thread from one offer to another in your business. So what I want you to envision in this box, the outside of this box is anything free. Okay? So this is anything free. I want you to think about, do you have intentionality around anything you put out free or paid? Do you have a vision and a map for how your offers flow all the way to the highest piece? Or is it disjointed and duct taped? Right? And so I want you to think about this. You know, do your offers make sense? Are you marketing even your lowest ticket offer to your highest ticket client? So notice that in this workshop today, I'm talking pretty high level.

Melissa Henault [:

I'm gonna talk even more at a CEO level around KPIs. I'm talking about segmenting your list. I am not gonna dumb down what I'm talking about because this is free. Right? I'm not dumbing down what I'm sharing because this is free. I am talking right now to you as my premium client who understands my language. And if you don't, you'll tune me out, and that's fine. Right? So my question to you is even your lowest ticket and free stuff, is it speaking to your premium client? And do they ascend? Do you have a map for how they ascend through your offer ladder? Right? Really, really, do you have a strategic plan and map of your customer journey, your messaging at the top of your funnel, which for me, this is all my the black is like all my traffic. This is all the freebies.

Melissa Henault [:

This is social media. Anything top of funnel is where the traffic is flying through. Your messaging at the top of your funnel really impacts your offer flow and offer flow strategy and the results at the highest ticket level. And we're gonna talk about this in a little bit, but if your messaging with your freebies is dumbed down, it might be why your offer flow is broke because you're not attracting premium clients in because they don't want your free stuff because you're not speaking to them. So then your flow is broken because you're like, nobody's buying my higher ticket stuff. Well, duh, because you're marketing to the low ticket people. Even my free stuff at the top of my funnel is geared towards my premium client. So let me give you a classic example.

Melissa Henault [:

We have, like, my LinkedIn master class, the premium client knows the class goes for nine days. The premium client knows and is decisive in, like, forty eight hours. We have clients who will sit in on my masterclass, which I over deliver and give all the goods, and they wanna cut through the noise. Every masterclass, we go straight from day one, day two to the go getter premium client is on a call with me before we even open the cart. And they're like, this is great, but how do I work at a higher level? What does it cost? $30,000 wire transfer overnight. And I can give you a laundry list of people that do it. Why? Because I start by speaking to them. I start by speaking to them.

Melissa Henault [:

So you can have a freebie that pulls them into a master class that then jumps into for us, our academy. We can have someone come from a freebie that joins the email list that jumps directly from our email list to our $30,000 offer. This is a really great example. Again, this is all about offer flows. We only open the doors to our experiential based mastermind, Elevate three sixty once a year in October, and we do an email push first. And every year, like, this past year, we did an email push, and within a week, we filled 10 people into our $30,000 mastermind. So we literally went from email to mastermind. How are we able to do that? Through strategic offer flows where they're on the list, and the content we're nurturing on that list is of high value to the premium client.

Melissa Henault [:

They wanna open their inbox. They wanna learn all year. And then when the time is right, it's not my business when they're ready to invest. We're just putting it out. I know that my lead magnets, the people downloading them are action takers because I speak to them. If no one's acting on your list from your freebies, it's because you're marketing to low level people who don't take action. They just collect freebies. I hope this is making sense for you all.

Melissa Henault [:

Now don't let your mind tell you stories again. Some of you are like, good for her. Look at this big complicated map and all the freebies that she has. Every master was once a disaster. For me, I started with one freebie. The LinkedIn checklist, it still is like the most top performing freebie that we have. That's where it started. I started with one freebie.

Melissa Henault [:

And and, again, I'm not gonna get into the weeds of coaching this because I don't have enough time, but we teach this inside of Build Grow Scale. There's very specific ways that you can nurture that list without it being a huge lift at all. You're gonna repurpose. My world is simplicity. Right? We want simplicity. So notice the intentionality behind everything we have. So I'm gonna ask one more time, do you have a strategic plan and a map of your customer journey? I am literally right now working on nurtures. I'm writing out strategies.

Melissa Henault [:

I'm constantly I see the web of where things go. And I'm even in real time recording videos right now to, like, plug in at certain points in some of my programs that tethered other programs right now with literally a link in that module to purchase, because I know that they need it for the best results with what they're taking there. So when you create everything in your offer flow for your ideal client, you can create a pipeline of dream clients by default. Your messaging, what you offer, perfect offer flows. This is one thing I wanted to to talk about is predictable recurring revenue is nervous system regulation. So this is nervous system regulation. We missed our launch goal three times this year. We had three launches and didn't hit our launch goal any of them in the first four months.

Melissa Henault [:

So how do we crush a million dollars in revenue anyway? My sales manager, I'll never forget her coming to me with her head just hung low at the end of the first quarter. She's like, I don't know. I just I feel like I failed. I'm like, we haven't failed. I'm like, grinning from ear to ear. I'm like, we did a million dollars, 20 5 percent profit margin, and we exceeded our our revenue goals because we're not launch dependent, because of everything we just talked about. We don't wanna be so busy chasing the next carrot that we miss the opportunity to squeeze the juice out of what you already have. Right? We wanna squeeze the juice out of what of what we've already have.

Melissa Henault [:

So we have over a hundred like I said earlier, we have over a hundred thousand in recurring revenue every month with or without a launch, and it's because of our Ascension model, our client renewal model, and a recurring revenue. And it's stacked on what I'm gonna talk to you about now, which is the reduced waste and increased efficiency. So this is the next piece I wanna talk about. And some of you, this is where you're gonna tune me out because you're gonna be like, okay, this is boring. This is not sexy. But listen. I know many of us left corporate America to get out of, like, the dryness, but the reality is you just shifted from working for someone else that was a CEO to now you being the CEO. So now it's your job to know your numbers.

Melissa Henault [:

Now it's your job to look under the hood. It's your job to look at the efficiency of your business because the only one that's losing out is you when you're not. And so profit leaks are probably killing your margins. How many of you have group coaching that's on, like, recurring payment or any kind of offer that's a membership that's on recurring payment? Many of you may be experiencing major leaks from just not focusing on lost money. Okay. If you have stacked revenue, people's addresses change, their expiration dates end, they have insufficient funds. There's so many things that can happen with a default for those of you that depend on this, like, recurring payment system. And if you don't have a systematic strategy to recover that, a penny earned what is it? A a penny saved is a dollar or a penny saved is a penny earned.

Melissa Henault [:

Dollar saved is dollar. I don't know. Scott's probably laughing at me right now. You guys know what I'm saying. You're leaking money if you don't have a system. The next thing I wanna talk about is KPIs. Again, some of you are gonna be like, oh my god. Is she really going there? Yes.

Melissa Henault [:

And this is why we make a lot of money. KPIs are key performing indicators. People respect what you inspect. How many of you have at least one contractor that's helping you in any way, shape, or form? Now my question to you is do they have specific accountability to their work and understand the through line of how their work impacts the bottom line profit, vision, and mission of your company? Those are big that's a big question, but you're a CEO. Right? Do you have a vision and mission for your company? Do the people that support you understand the through line of how their work impacts it? And are you measuring it? Or are they measuring it? Or are they just plugging along? Place I see it the worst for those of you just getting started is, like, delegating out social media, and you just let someone manage your account, and you're just pouring money down the sink with, like, no measures. Like, give them needle moving, key performing indicators to track. Don't just let them come to you and say that everything's great because they've grown your account. That doesn't mean squat.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? We wanna know if it's converting sales, if it's creating downloads for the freebies, if it's growing your email list. And so if you can create a through line to how their work impacts the profitability of the company, and they have to track and report in on it on a weekly and monthly basis, game changer on all levels. And I'm not here to say that this is micromanagement. This is actually a very powerful form of leadership because many contractors actually prefer you give them guidelines, and they they have pride in being able to report to you what they've accomplished. On a weekly basis, the team that helps me manage my LinkedIn account comes in with pride. We had this many people download the freebie. We had this many people sign up for the networking workshop. We grew your account by this many people and not just grew your account, but here's the specific demographic that's your target audience that we actually grew it with.

Melissa Henault [:

Because let's be honest, the audience doesn't matter if it's not the right demographic. How many of you have more than a contractor? You've got bigger players on your team. This was a huge needle moving activity for me. This past year, the past two years, I've been in massive hypergrowth, which for some can seem like an ATM machine for the rest of my team. And I love you guys, but I'm just gonna call you out a little bit. And I'm the one that let it happen, right? They come to you with all these ideas on things that you can buy and you can invest in. It's like going to the grocery store with your kids down the cereal aisle, and they want to throw everything in the shopping cart. Because you can't.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? And it's that same conversation you have with your kids about, you know, there's only so much of a budget for the groceries. There's only so much of a budget for the business. And one of the best things I did was actually create an incentive bonus for my team that says, hey. Here's the profit margin goal, guys, and here is our revenue goal. And if you can help contain cost, then you're gonna get paid extra. Guess what started to happen? Everybody started to think twice about recommending outsourcing anything, and everybody started to offer to lean in and do the copy themselves instead of hiring a copywriter to do it. Leaning in and doing some of the other work versus high because why? Because they were little mini CFOs within my company who were, like, want to now manage the budget because if we meet goals, they get incentivized. So this is something you can all be doing in your business.

Melissa Henault [:

Now the last thing I wanna say here is don't be a Neanderthal. Hello. Speaking to myself. Don't be a Neanderthal and start embracing AI as quickly as you possibly can. Okay. One of the things that really blew my mind recently is I created a brand new workshop with AI. I I built the workshop and literally within ten minutes built out all the social promotion, all the landing copy, all the email nurture, the sales page, and the closed cart sequence in ten minutes. Two years ago, that would have taken me I would have resisted even doing a new thing because of all the tasks that needed to be done to support rolling it out.

Melissa Henault [:

So don't be a Neanderthal. Begin to embrace AI if you haven't already. The last thing I wanna share with you all is like, what's the pivot with creativity? Like, what what's going on here? Right? This is something that has just been sexy and juicy and fun. And this is pivoting with creativity in a changing market. But like I said before, always keep your ears and eyes open for the shift and act quickly. And so the thing I wanna talk about this, the elephant in the room is the trust recession. And what I wanna talk about with the trust recession, I've been at this game of being in the online mentorship space for seven years, and I have never been up against as much resistance as I am today with people investing to work with you. And it has mostly it doesn't have nearly as much to do with money.

Melissa Henault [:

There's still a lot of abundant premium clients, and we'll talk about that has everything to do with trust. Because the industry itself, people have been burned, they've made significant investments that they haven't seen the ROI on since COVID. It's just boomed in the online space. And we're up against a trust recession. So if you're finding that less people are instantly buying your higher ticket things, you're not alone. So I'm just gonna call that out. There was two years ago during our launches, we would open cart, And within five days, a 50 people would purchase a $5,500 offer. We would do almost $800,000 in sales.

Melissa Henault [:

That doesn't happen anymore. And it's because the market has shifted, but the opportunity and the premium clients are all there. They're all there. They want a taster of you, and they wanna experience you before they're gonna double down and commit because of the trust recession. So that doesn't mean there's no opportunity. Like I said before, it's impacted how our clients choose their experience. Right? And it's why we pivoted on our toes this year And with wild early results, let's talk about where you could pivot. And then we'll use our business as a case study for those three pivots, where we've just done record breaking work.

Melissa Henault [:

So I'm just gonna kind of call out the truth. What you've been told is a lie. Okay? And I'm gonna bring you back to the low to mid ticket offers. What you've been told and hello. Name's Melissa. I'm guilty of this couple you know, less than two years ago, probably doing the exact same thing. Low ticket to entry level clients. Give your low ticket stuff of low value to your entry level clients.

Melissa Henault [:

Give your mid ticket clients mid value, and give your high ticket clients your highest value stuff. How many people have been taught this principle and maybe even live by it today? What I wanna say here is that every single offer you create should be designed for your ideal client. Period. Your offer funnel and your offer flow is broken if you're following this old model. It's why people aren't ascending, especially in a trust recession. Why have we been able to pivot and still generate the revenue? Because we've been able to pivot with the trust recession and meet our clients where they are with their level of trust. And I'm gonna give you guys a case study with what we're doing in just a minute. With the trust recession, if your low ticket is where you're spending all your time, the least amount of your time is talking to your high ticket client, right? If you're in that model, this leads to that bigger problem.

Melissa Henault [:

Your lower ticket doesn't feed into your higher ticket, which is why your model might be broken. Right? And here's the thing. Some of you might be saying to yourself, well, I'm gonna alienate my sales by talking only to the high ticket. Melissa, I'm gonna alienate my sales by only talking about high ticket. What if I told you, you would attract more of your dream client to your spaces, if you spoke more to them, And then think about how quickly they'll actually flow from your low to mid to high. If you're speaking to them from the beginning, you're not dragging tire kickers up your ladder. Right? So if you're here today, like attracts like. You're a bit like me.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? Even if you don't have millions in the bank, you're a premium client. So let's talk about what a premium client actually is because I know some of you in your mind are like, premium client has all the money in the bank to invest $30,000. That's not always true. It's their mindset. I was a premium client seven years ago when I had a vision for what was possible. When I started my business, I didn't have any money as a coach yet. As a matter of fact, the first month I launched, I made $1,200, but I knew I was destined to be a multi 7 to 8 figure CEO. That was my mindset.

Melissa Henault [:

I don't wanna sit in a room with anything less. So I want you to understand this. That year, when I had made only $1,200 that October, I put 12,000 on a credit card to work with a coach, and then sequentially three months later invested in an $18,000 mastermind. None of that makes sense on paper. My husband was like, what the hell are you doing? But for me, I resonated with the room. I was a premium client from the beginning. And if that mentor had spoke to me at a low level and brought me into a room, I wouldn't have gone into the room with the low level people because that's not where I saw myself. So I want you to understand that these trailblazers and premium clients can either act fast and pay the money because they have it in the bank, or they act fast and they find the way to source it because they know they're gonna recoup it quickly because they know they are action takers.

Melissa Henault [:

Low level messaging would not have activated me. Your ideal client needs to be activated. Right? You need to empower the action takers. I'm gonna give you two very specific examples. In the first and if any of you sat through our master class, you actually anybody know Michelle Fleming? She's a physician that's in my high level e three sixty mastermind. She literally sat through the first two days of my lead gen master class. Before we even open cart, she was like, I need to talk to you. I got on a call with her, gave I was taught for thirty minutes.

Melissa Henault [:

She's like, what's the highest ticket thing you have? I'm still in corporate America. I have an idea of what I wanna do. What do you have? What's the closest proximity to you? She didn't even have an offer. She was still in corporate America, but she knew what she wanted. And she invested that day, and within four months, she retired from corporate America. And last month, she filled the room and blew out her very first launch leveraging LinkedIn. That's a premium client. She is an action taker.

Melissa Henault [:

Aaron is another great example. He had just taken a package from a Fortune five hundred. He didn't even have a job at the moment. He was a COO who was looking to launch. He knew what he was destined for. He knew what frequency he wanted to be at, And he invested to be in the room, wired us $30,000 that day within forty eight hours of meeting him. I'm sharing these specific examples for you because I want you to understand who your prime premium client is and know that even at the lowest level, I never would have gained Erin or Michelle had I not offered a totally free masterclass. Is this making sense? I'm not saying you need to do totally free masterclasses, but what I'm saying is you better put something out that is gold, that rocks them to their core, gives them a mini breakthrough, makes them think differently, and activates them.

Melissa Henault [:

And if you're leaving your leftovers, you're never gonna attract all the way up your offer flow. Right? How many of you are potentially seeing opportunities for shifts in your business from what I've shared with you so far? So in 02/2025, it is about pivoting first in the market and adapting. Maybe your wheels are turning and you're seeing the exact areas in your business that need tightening, simplifying, or scaling. That's good. That's good because that means this hit. Right? That means I've activated you. So what we've covered tonight wasn't surface level content. I told you it wasn't gonna be surface level.

Melissa Henault [:

Right? It was needle moving fast insight. This got the exact same strategy that's helped us drive over 10,000,000 in revenue. And more importantly, it's helped entrepreneurs like you, like, significantly collapse time. But here's the thing. Awareness alone is not going to change your business, right? And this is where it's gonna be really cool, because I'm gonna get to share with you guys a case study, and how you could potentially do something like this, right? Because strategy without systems is still chaos. And trying to implement what we just talked about, alone can be really, really confusing. Right? And so that's where people stall. So I've found it again and again that you don't need just more information.

Melissa Henault [:

You need a container to implement what you now know. Right? And so that's what's really cool about this, because this is a beautiful tie in and our own market shift and our own pivot and a real case study, where you literally get to see behind the scenes. So I'm gonna show you guys, would you guys like to see the pivots we're making? That's what I'm gonna show you next is like, how we're adapting to the market. And you're gonna you are literally getting kind of firsthand exposure to this. So I'm gonna walk you through the three ways that we've not only been innovative, but how you can keep the momentum moving. So there's three ways to take what we started here and turn it into serious traction in your business over the next ninety days. Right? I know you didn't show up for motivation. I know that this is a recalibration, and we got some energy in the room, but you came here to shift your results.

Melissa Henault [:

And now that you've seen the gaps, maybe potential back end, a little bit of chaos, maybe a little bit of duct tape, some some holes, right, you were gonna show you some options on how you can plug systems in that are already working. So and again, this is really cool, because it's like literally a case study with what we're sharing. What we've done is we've created three levels of support that are completely new and innovative from what we've ever done before. And it is landing, it is landing, and I'm so excited to share it with you. So there's like three different levels of support and three ways to move. So you're going to be able to see the shifts that we've made, and that we can potentially encourage you to be doing with your own business. So whether you want monthly momentum in the hive, so we're going to talk about the hive or a full funnel system like build, grow, scale, or even an intimate strategy to scale fast in the inner circle, we've built the exact room for you in this market. It's literally a choose your adventure and we're matching the market.

Melissa Henault [:

And you're seeing and participating in our own pivot in real time. That's literally exploding. So really quickly, I'm going to walk you through these three different case studies of what we're doing. So what we have first is our burnout to all out hive. Okay. This is our most innovative and radically different coaching offer, meeting the market where they are. Some of you, you're gonna be like, I can't believe she's doing this. Right? This is we've we've never had an offer under $5.5500.

Melissa Henault [:

Never, right. And we're creating the hive, which is designed for folks who are ready to stay in momentum and finally feel supported in a space that actually moves. And it's really designed for either alumni who wanna stay connected in our community and coaching, or for premium clients, just like we talked about trust recession. So we've actually created the high for premium clients who are still feeling it out. They want a taste of our world, and they just want access to our brilliance without the big buy in at the moment. And we're like, cool. It's not not any of my business when you decide to go deep with me, but let me bring you into my world and knock your socks off either way. And in inside of this community, we have live monthly coaching with myself and with my team.

Melissa Henault [:

We have guest mentors. We've we're sharing behind the scene templates and trainings that we're using right now. Guest experts, I brought in Mel Abraham this past week, big names from the big, big networks that I invest in, real time support from a network of trailblazing entrepreneurs, right? Amazing people just like you, and access to a core one single core module from each of our core pillar programs. Again, we're giving you a taste of our brilliance. It's like a taster. It's like an appetizer to the nine course meal, right? And it creates momentum. It creates mentorship, no fluff, all action, low barrier to entry. Right? We've never done anything like this, and it is blowing up.

Melissa Henault [:

We launched it as a downsell to our last launch, and we sold more people into the hive than we did our actual launch. And it is buzzing. No no pun intended, but it's buzzing. Okay? Now the second innovative thing we've done is we took our $10,000 mini mastermind that we historically ran for six months at a time, and this is what we did. The first piece of it is we actually deconstructed it. We said, hey, listen, there is still the opportunity to be really intimate, high touch coaching and be in that mastermind or not that high ticket group coaching. But some of you just want the templates, you want the modules, and you don't wanna invest $10,000 So we're like, again, we know our value, and we're gonna wow you. And you're gonna get one aspect of a framework, and you're gonna wanna gobble up and buy it all anyway.

Melissa Henault [:

So, like, have at it. So what we've decided to do is create an a la carte menu, an engine under our $10,000,000 brand, our system that creates everything that we build to this day, build more traffic, more eyeballs, more premium offers. That is one framework. Grow is the second framework, which is messaging funnels, systems that convert a lot of what we talked about today. Scale is operations, hiring, retention, and back end that lets you expand. And then the fourth offer that we've made really innovative is, look, you can buy each of those individually, or you can buy the bundle. Right? You can buy the bundle. And we've, like, removed the barrier.

Melissa Henault [:

So if you pick your path so our clients can say, you know what, Melissa? We just want to focus on bringing more traffic and premium clients. I just want access to everything and all the templates and the trainings that you have on that. Awesome. You get it for life. And so the other option again, grow. Maybe you're like, I just wanna focus on converting leads into high paying clients. I want to map out irresistible offers. I want all your templates and cheat codes.

Melissa Henault [:

That's where you wanna focus. We are leaving it up to our clients to decide a la carte, which category they wanna invest in at a low barrier to entry or grab them all. Right? So, again, this is where we're being wildly innovative. The bottom line is they can get all of them in a bundle. So this is a great case study of where we deconstructed something that is of super high value, and we didn't take it away, by the way. We we actually had someone buy in full yesterday to our still our stand alone $10,000 offer, which is the burnout to all out inner circle. So our high touch, high level mentorship is still available. This is for people for the few who know they're scaling to 7 or 8 figures and don't wanna waste time.

Melissa Henault [:

They wanna jump in the fast lane. They want direct access to me. They want coaching with me on a weekly basis. Right? And they want access to everything under the hood that burnout to all out has. And so this is our highest level mentorship. And what we've created here is it's for a year long, which makes the payments less than a thousand dollars a month. So my point in all of this is my case study to you is be freaking innovative. Be freaking innovative.

Melissa Henault [:

What we have found is that we've created a structure where people don't need all of them. They just need the right journey with us. We're leaving it up to them to choose where the right path is for them, and then we move together feeling fully aligned wherever they come in. And if you're marketing to your premium client and you're strategically tethering, they'll move up your ascension ladder anyway, which is what we are experiencing in real time right now. Hopefully, this case study has really like, us unveiling our own case study and how we're innovating is inspiring you and how you can innovate in this trust recession. And we'd also love to encourage you to come join us at any level, right, at any level. So here's the deal. Just as a final kind of final remarks, you're either building the business you want or you're patching the one you tolerate.

And Jackie's the one that we coined the word duct tape. Right? Are are you duct taping it? Are you building a business that you want? Your future self is already in one of these rooms that we talked about. We've made it, like, no brainer for three different options on based off the case study I shared with you tonight where you could dive in. Just whichever room you choose, just keep moving. Right? You didn't come here for more ideas. You came here to implement. Right? You came here to take action. So your future self is already in one of those rooms.

So go join them. Right? I hope that this was a recalibration for all of you. I hope it ignited you. It inspired you. I hope that you walk away with some ideas on how you can up level in your business. And I hope that you found out of the three different opportunities, a way to work with us so that we can, you know, get our hands on your business, get connected with you, whether you choose, the hive and and kind of this community aspect or going all in deep where we work really deep with you, we're here for you. We wanna support you. And with that, we'll call it a night.
