28. Traditional Pharmacy to Celebrating Female Entrepreneurs in Pharmacy with Dr. Jerrica Dodd

Also a Pharmacist, Dr. Jerrica has had a 22-year career, with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a Masters in Science and Pharmacy Administration. Following over 17 years in her career, with experience managing a hospital pharmacy, in retail pharmacy, and having played multiple roles in medical affairs, she transitioned to full-time entrepreneurship. The worldwide speaker is also the founder and CEO of Your Pharmacy Advocate LLC, where she is working to integrate a Functional Medicine perspective from the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Jerrica also publishes her magazine "The PharmaSis Magazine" dedicated to highlighting female entrepreneurs in Pharmacy. Her recent educational pursuits also include the completion of her Nutrition Health Coaching certificate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

 

Dr. Jerrica recounts the experience surrounding her brain surgery, putting into perspective her burnout, and the necessitated steps that put her on the path to where she is today. Many pharmacists are brilliant but insecure. Listen to this episode as she encourages budding entrepreneurs to face their fears to avoid regrets.
